Templates (MPT) and Project Server 2007

I'm scratching my head on this one, and the lack of documentation is not
helping. I created and saved a template in MS Pro 2007. When I go to use
the template it does not appear in the dialog box as Working or Published (or
when I choose "Retrieve list of all projects..."). I can see it in
Enterprise Objects in Project Server and the type is set to Template. I'm I
missing something here that would allow me to pull up the template in Pro
from Server? I've looked at permissions and server settings, along with
Options in Pro and there is nothing apparent to me. Any help would be
appreciated.

You are looking in the wrong place. Click File - New and then click the "On
computer" link in the New Project sidepane. In the Templates dialog, click
the Enterprise Templates tab and it should appear there. Select the
template and click the OK button to create a new project from it. Hope this
helps.

Dale,

That did it. I figured I was missing something pretty easy. Since we never
used templates before, I did not think to look in "On Computer". Thanks for
the information.

The "On Computer" step is definitely not intuitive, that's for sure. You
are more than welcome for the help.
