Templates-----problem getting new ones.

I have office 2007. Every since I installed it on my computer I cannot get
to the MS website to get any templates for word or excel. The error message
keeps saying that I am not connected to the internet or that MS site is down.
I am connected to the internet and I doubt if the MS site is down each time
I try. Can someone tell me what I need to do?

Check your firewall, be certain you are allowing the Office web site.
Put the Office site into your trusted area.

In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Security tab, click Trusted
Sites, click Sites button, uncheck *Require server verification (https for
sites in this zone.* Type http://office.microsoft.com in the address bar, click
add.

Clearing your temporary cache will help. In Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet
Options, Delete button, check Internet Temporary Files, click delete.
