Templates question

S

Steve Boyce

We have many documents attached to a template on a server that no longer
exists. Every time one of these docs is opened, it takes a long time before
it times out to look for the server. We have thousands of documents where
we need to blank out, or modify, this old template pointer. Is there any
way to automate the process of amending these docs, so they are no longer
attached to a non-exisent template?

Many thanks - Steve

That's the info I needed - thanks a lot
(By the way, I did search the KB unsuccessfully before posting - am I the
only one who finds the new sharepoint-based search facility a disaster?)

For a beginner like me, how does one reach KB? Can you
provide the URL link or other mechanism?

Thank you.
