Microsoft should increase its templates, according to the
needs of its customers. Schools and Educational
Institutions must record the attendance of its students.
An ATTENDANCE MARKER template should be developed by
Microsoft.

Chandrasekhar,

This forum is trafficked mainly by volunteers who don't work
for Microsoft, so your suggestions won't likely go anywhere
from here. To communicate your wishes to MS, send email to
(e-mail address removed).

I would say that Word is probably not the best software to use for that
purpose. That notwithstanding, everything that a user needs to create
their own templates is included with Word and it would simply be impractical
to provide wtih the software templates for every imaginable purpose. To
learn how to create your own see the article "Creating a Template - The
Basics (Part I)" at:

http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Customization/CreateATemplatePart1.htm

amd "Creating a Template (Part II)" at:

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

I would go so far as to suggest that if anyone wants a template that they
do it themselves. After all, no-one is going to develop a generic
template which is suitable for everyone.

Also, most of the ones from MS are poor examples - at least of style use.
They sometimes look good, though, at least until you start using them.

Indeed. I remember one London law firm trying to roll out their templates
based on the MS ones. The roll out didn't last too long... :)
