Templates

The boss has Windows 2000 and Microsoft Office 2000 at home. He would like
to use the templates we have set up in the office at home. I sent him the
template files via email and told him where to paste them. They worked fine
for about 2 years. Now he says the toolbar button that allows him to open
"Other..." is gone and doesn't even show in the toolbar "Customize..."
"File" command options. I'm not certain about Word 2000, but in 2002 it is
the third option in the list it says "New |{small down-pointing
triangle}". In Word 2002 I can get to the "Other..." option to open
templates by clicking on File, then New and the task pane will open where I
can click on "General Templates...". Word 2000 apparently doesn't have the
task pane. Is there a way I can tell him to get to the templates?

In Word 2000, it would be New... on the File menu. If he has inadvertently
deleted the command, point him to

Thanks, Suzanne. Next time he is at home working (which I hope will be
soon!) we'll try this.
