Templates

I have Word 2000 - when I click File\Open - I used to get
a window showing the basic default Templates eg New Web
Page etc

Now - File\Open just opens at my Documents

Have I somehow 'lost' the basic Templates ?

File > New... leads to the templates you describe.

File > Open... leads to the My Documents folder.
