This is difficult or impossible to trouble-shoot without knowing what
template you are using... Generally, if you don't want certain items,
you would have to delete them. What are you trying to do, and what
specific problem occurs when you try to do it?
If this is a Word resumé then the problem is probably related to the fact
that the template is based on a table and can therefore be treated as such.
To hide the 'boxes' table > hide gridlines.
