I have 6 ladies over a certain age who all would like to
make their own christmas cards using Word.. I have
created a template with text boxes in the position for
the pictures. .

They will insert their own photograph into the text box.
and type their own message.

How can I make sure the text boxes stay the correct size
and position when they insert their photograph. They all
have a digital camera but cannot resize the photo. I want
it to just be inserted as it is. Some of them do not have
very good mouse control due to health problems but they
are managing very well and really enjoy using their
computers. I want it to be a easy as possible for them.

Hi Evelyn,

Rather than a Textbox for the photo, I suggest converting
the textbox to a FRAME (there's a button for this on the
Textbox tab in the format dialog box). You can then
right-click the frame's frame, go into that Format dialog
box and set either the height or the width (whichever is
more critical) to an EXACT setting.

when the picture is inserted, it will be limited in this one
dimension, and the other dimension will size
proportionately.
