I load the template into Word.I then load the document
into the template. The problem is that once the word are
in, the template is moved down. So I tried loading the
template in on top of the words that doesn't work either.
I don't know whaty to do.

You don't normally do either.
You either open the document and edit it or you create a new document from
the template.

or is there something else you are trying to do here?

I'm not sure what you are doing there (can you give a step-by-step
explanation, please?), nor what you are trying to achieve: tell us what
you want and I'm sure someone in here can give you the right pointer ...

Are you trying to update a document's styles from a template, or vice
versa, or ...?
