Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi, i'm new to the mac world and so far i have to say why did i wait so long!!
When i bought my macbook it had office 2008 with it. But when i use the word templates it isn't in english. Did i miss something during the installation or can i translate these templates?

What you see in the templates is called "lorem ipsum" used as placeholder
text only. It isn't 'instructions in some foreign language' :) Just select
the content & replace it with your own.

Isn't it technically some random Latin word patterns used to take up
space :)

The print industry uses it because the distribution of letters is such that
it will take up the same space as normal text.

In proportional fonts, each letter has a different width. The space between
words takes up space on the page. So to find out "how text will fit in
here" you need the correct balance of both word length and letter
distribution.

The printing industry has been using Lorem Ipsum for the purpose almost as
long as printing presses have existed.
