Templates

I'm using Office 2003 and would like to delete the
default Microsoft templates that show up and replace them
with our company specific templates, preferably in the
approprate tabs, such as Memo, Fax, etc. I've deleted
the default templates but they still show up. When I
save a document as a template it only shows up in the
general tab.

Hi Brian,

You need to uninstall the MS templates from Add/Remove Programs.

For your company templates, you need to create subfolders in either
the User Templates folder or Workgroup Templates folder and name the
folders using the same name as the tabs. When a template is placed in
the folder it will display on the correct tab.
