Hi,
I have several users with this problem, we are using T3G (Mobile Broadband)
cards in our laptops. The machines are running XP SP2 with Office 2003 (All
patched)
We run the machine in cahce mode, however if a user is connected to our
network via the data card (Note : we have a special gateway from the mobile
provider to our network Ie full IP access) we can sync email fine, it
trickles in well and the machine can be used to do other things while it
happens in the background. However if you send an email with a large
attachment say 2MB. when you hit send and receive the machine locks up while
it obvosily focuses on sending the email. once it is gone the machine comes
back to life. Why is this and can it be stopped Ie why does it not just send
in the background can it be made too.
Thanks
