I have several Managers that configure their Outlook to send meeting requests
only to their delegates. The problem that we are encountering is that when
the meeting requests are sent to the delegate, they appointments do not
appear on the managers' calendar as tentative until the delegate actually
opens the e-mail.
I tried establishing a rule on the delegates PC to mark all meeting requests
sent to anyone other than the delegate themselves, but just marking the
request as read does not force it to post to the managers calendar either.
This is a problem when last minute meetings are organized (over a weekend
for example) and they do not show up on the managers calendar because the
delegate has not yet opened the message.
Is there a fix for this issue or any suggestions for a work-around?
Thanks
