Terminal service printing

OK, here's the situation. I can connect remotely, (from
home), to my database via Terminal Server and execute the
application. A report (multi-part, carbonless form),I need
is set to print on a specific (impact-type) printer which
is local to my work machine. It is naturally, not the
default printer for the Terminal Server. So, even though I
have installed the printer on the Terminal Server, (shared
from my work machine), I don't get the option to print to
that printer via Terminal Services. I do get the message
that the report is formatted to print to the impact
printer but that it is unavailable and do I wish to print
to the (Server's) default printer instead, which doesn't
do multipart forms. Anyone know of a soluton?

When printing to a local shared printer I have come
accross the same issue's the problem was the speed of the
conection. Anything slower than 30k the terminal server
would drop the connection to the printer and it would be
unavaliable. Are you using a modem connection which is
getting slow connections ?

No, it's broadband. But I fixed it, here's what I did:
Instead of trying to change the printer (I explored
PrintDevMode, rolling my own VBA, etc), I simply made a
copy of the report which seemingly broke the bond with the
printer. I could then designate the path to the (via UNC)
and make the connection. I then added another button to my
form for the new report and this is now solved. Thanks for
the input.
