Here is what happened:
1) Installed Outlook
2) Started to setup my outlook with my comcast email account
3) Went to tools - Email Accounts - Add a new email account
4) POP3 Server
5) Typed my name, email address (e-mail address removed), password
6) Incoming mail server: mail.comcast.net
7) Outgoing mail server: smtp.comcast.net
8) Click on Test Account Settings: Everything checks except the Send test
e-mail message
The message I get is... "Send test e-mail message: The specified server was
found, but there was no response from the server. Please verify that the port
and SSL information is correct. To access these settings close this dialog,
then click More Settings and click on the Advanced tab.
Everything is right... 110 and 25 for the SSL. I tried "My outgoing server
requires authentication" as well but I can't get through the test. I can't
get receive or send at all.... PLEASE HELP!
