Text alignment within text box, and grid borders

I have text boxes on a tabular report which can contain different amounts of
text but must remain the same height. To look neat, I want to centre the text
vertically (so it may take up one, two or three lines), but I cannot see how
to do this.

Also, is there an easy way to put a grid border around the detail section,
or do I have to put all the vertical lines in manually? or can you put a
border around multiple controls (like in Excel)?

I am trying to convert some people from Excel to Access and it's proving
difficult!
