text all jumbled up in "newsletter" type emails

Hi there, I have had this problem before I updated to OSX10.5 so its not an operating problem, all the text looks jumbled up and scrambled up in newsletter type emails that get sent to me, all the pictures are ok, but where people have added type before sending, that comes out all over the place. I have tried to look for the com.microsoft file in the library/cache folder so I can trash it, I was told that was what to do, but there are all apple files in there, I have done a search too and no 'com.microsoft' to be seen. if anyone knows the answer to my problem that would be great, the only way I can read the email is by clicking reply which then is juts text only. thanks

Delete the "com.microsoft.browserfont.cache" file in ~/Library/Caches.

"~" represents your home folder, which is usually located in /Users/<Your
User>/ and is accessible by going to Go > Home in the Finder.
