text animations difference when switching from Mac to PC

I created a presentation that works great on my Mac with faded fly-ins
but when I view it on the PC the transitions changed to some aweful
reveal thing.

Also, I had made transitions between slides as Quick-time cross fades.
They are completely ignored on the PC.

Please help. I've got Mac:power Point version: X service release 1 and
on the PC: Power Point 2002.

Is there a way to save it on my mac that will include the transitions?

The PC version of powerpoint *Does not* support the quicktime transitions.

What version was the powerpoint on the PC?

Only since powerpoint 2002/XP on the PC does it have 'smooth fades'
