Text appears different size in Firefox

A

artbug

I am using Frontpage 2003 and recently have started to notice my text appears
much smaller on line in the Firefox browser vs. Explorer and in the Frontpage
2003 program.

It doesn't matter which font I use i still have the problem. You can see
what I am talking about on the Home page of my website. Scroll down to blue
framed box with type next the page bottom.

Thank you all help appreciated.

I'm not sure, too much, but here's my two bits worth ....

In this order....

1).. Download Firefox and use it as your Default Browser
2).. Install the IE Tab add-on into Firefox so that you can see how IE sees
the WorldWide Web too!
3).. Learn about CSS - as much and as often as possible
4).. Use the line below at the top of all your CSS Stylesheets:
* { margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0}
5).. Start using a stylesheet as soon as possible

Once you have #1above ticked off your to-do list you will see the web as she
was supposed to be seen!
With #2 ticked off you will start to slide down the serious frustration
slide when seeing your beautiful looking (in Explorer) web pages turn out
somewhat differently in FireFox
#4 will start to stop the frustration

Or, as an alternative maybe you can wait for MS to deliver on it's promises
of a "soon to be announced version" of IE conforming to "Web Standards".

But, until you do one or t'other then your site - and all of her pages -
will continue to be different when viewed in one Browser or another.

Fortunately the amount of FireFox users are increasing steadily!

Good Luck.

I may have missed it in your CSS but it seems that you have not
specified which font is to be displayed. In this case the Browser
will use the font that is set to its default.
