Text Box & Circle Disappears

I am having a problem in Word when I place in a text box or a shape into the
document. The items seem to disappear when I change the zoom percentage,
scroll up or down and even when I save. But if I go and highlight the area it
comes back on screen.

I am wondering if it is a problem with Word refreshing the screen?

Can anyone help? Is anyone having the same problems?
