Text Box Fill Colour

D

Duncs

You may recall my earlier post about animation and effects.

Well, I want to do something else...

Once all the images are dispalyed and everything is completed, I want
a text box to appear in the middle of the screen. However, the text
box has a transparent background so I changed it to a colour that
allows the text to be read.

I only have one problem...when I view the slide, I have a large,
coloured area in the middle of the screen. This obscures everything
behind it. I've tries setting the background to white, and sending
the text box to the back. However, when it displays, I can't bring it
back to the foreground.

How can I achieve what I want to do?

TIA

Hello,

But I'm afraid that if you fill the background, you will get a filled
background. I know that sounds silly, but that is what is happening. So
what about our work around?

Why not create a rectangle with a fill and animate it first. Then build a
text box on top of it and animate it second. Does that make sense?
