text box(in word) doesn't flow to the next page...

when i draw a text box, or draw a box, it doesn't flow to the next page.

when the contents exceed a page, it doesn't continously show up on the next
page, but rather cuts off and not shown.

i know how to handle it when it is a 'table' but not the text box or
shape-drawing...

OBJECTS cannot span a page break in Word.

If you *must* do this sort of thing, create another Text box on the
following page, then Link the preceding Text Box to it using the Create Text
Box Link tool on the Text Box toolbar. The text will flow from one to the
next. See Word Help on linking text boxes if you need more detail.
