Text box issue

Built a web site using Publisher 2002. Home page when cursor is over info -
shows message displaying a small 'text'. On subsequent pages - cursor over
test - shows entire body of text in a yellow window. How does one eliminate
showing 'any' info when over a text area?

You most likely are not displaying straight text but rather are displaying a
graphic and what you are seeing is the alt tag. refer to

If you applied a fill to the text box and/or layered the text box with other
objects than you will be getting an image file of that rather than html
text. My site covers that topic.
