text box problem

when I open a 2003 version and try to edit a text box the arrows move in the
opposite direction right goes left up goes down. if you create a new text
box it works fine.

What type of text box are you using and where is it? Control Toolbox, Forms
text box? In the spreadsheet, on a user form?

This is a standard excel spread sheet not forms that I update with new
information, with the text box from the insert tool bar. This is on text box
that were created in 2003. When I create a new text box using 2007 it is
fine. This is all on the same spread sheet.

Hi,

You are saying that they were created in 2003 using the Insert menu? I
don't have that command in 2003. Can you clarify. Knowing where they are in
2007 doesn't help because you are having problem with the 2003 text boxes not
the 2007 ones.
