Text Box Shapes

P

Patch

Hello Everyone.

I was wondering if there was anyone who could shed some light on a subject
of shaped text boxes. I am trying to get an L shaped box - i have tried 2
boxes together and doing the text box link feature but when it prints out
there is a noticable difference in the spacing - when i tried overlapping
them sending to back and sending to front - the text kept on dissappearing -
does anyone know how to get and L shaped text box that is one box?

any feedback or comments welcomed

Thanks Heaps

Create a rectangle, no fill, no line. Place it so the text in your text box
wraps (bring to the front). You can adjust how close you want the text to flow,
right-click the text box, format text box, layout tab, select square for the
wrap.

Hi, I just experimented and it worked. I dropped text into a text box, making
it a bit longer than the text. I then made another smaller text box which I
positioned over top in the righthand corner, lining it over the first text
box to create a perfect L shape. This forced the text to spread down and fill
into the L shape. I next locked the text boxes together.
