text box with multiple controls?

In a report, is it possible for one text box to include multiple fields in my
table?

Yes, use concatenation.
Given FirstName and LastName fields... (values "John" and "Smith")
Create an unbound calculated text control with a ControlSource of...
=LastName & ", " & FirstName
would yield...
Smith, John
in the text control,
