Some of my Visio 2003 drawings display in Visio Viewer (the latest download)
with black fill obscuring the text captions. Even a text box with no fill
pattern displays with the black fill. The black fill fits pretty closely
around the caption, it does not affect the rest of the shape that the caption
applies to. So it displays as if the caption is in its own black box
surrounded by the intended fill for the shape. The problem occurs also if the
graphics are converted to Visio 2002. It did not occur in a test case of
converting the graphic to Visio 5, but using Visio 5 creates other problems
for the application so I can't take that as a workaround. The graphics use
styles for text, line, and fill, so I wondered if Viewer could choke on a
style, but in a test, removing styles did not improve things. So I'm looking
for tips about what to change in the graphics that will make them enough like
Visio 5 for the Viewer to work.
Thanks,
Sallie
