One thing I would suggest is that you use Text Wrapping in order to be able
to position graphics as "floating" rather than stuffing them in Text Boxes.
It sounds like you were having difficulty because the pix were In Line with
Text which severely restricts positioning (but for good reason). You might
review the info available here:
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/DrawingGraphics.htm
I'm afraid I'm still not understanding what you mean by "'continue' down the
page" - even when using Text Boxes you can put as many on a page as you
wish. With Text Wrap applied to images you can do so as well & be able to
put them anywhere on the page you wish.
However, just inserting more images will *not* generate new pages. As I
pointed out in previous reply there has to be a paragraph - with text or
without - in order for a new page to be spawned automatically. This
typically is what happens as you type & fill one page with text the next
page is generated to receive the additional typing you do. But 'page' is a
deceptive term in Word, which deals with text flow.
If you aren't entering any text you'll have to create manual page breaks to
force new pages. Go to Insert>Break>Page Break to do so, but if this is how
you have to craft your document you'll likely run into problems further down
the road. You might be better off using a program like MS Publisher. That's
why I asked for more detail on what you are trying to do.
