Text boxes in e-mail newsletter

I want to send an e-mail newsletter in the body of an e-mail. When I e-mail
the newsletter to myself or another person, the formatting looks fine, but if
you click on any of the text, a text box outline appears around the text. How
can I make it so that this box doesn't show up if someone clicks on the text?

I appreciate the answer, but I really do not want to send the newsletter as
an attachment. When the text box appears in the e-mail, the person cannot
edit it, but that box still appears. We are using Outlook if that helps
explain why I have this problem. Is there anything else I can do to stop this
problem? If not, I'll have to use another program.

I can't duplicate this with Pub 2003 - I get a surprisingly good output.

Can you state the steps you are taking to create/send your newsletter...also
which version of Publisher?

This happened to me too. I never send HTML email, so I don't know if Publisher
2007 or Outlook is the culprit. I copied/pasted the content from Publisher to
Outlook. I forwarded it to another email address and it happens there as while.

Copy/paste may be the issue.

Try creating a web page EMAIL from a Pub EMAIL template, then just use File
| Send Email and see what happens. Works perfectly every time I've tried it.

NB. you don't even have to save the page

Rob--I'm having the same problem. I don't know what you mean by creating a
web page email from a Pub email. Can you please explain? I want to send the
Publisher document in the body of an email and retain the links it contains.
However, when you mouse over the email, text boxes flash up all over. How
can I stop this from occurring?

Thanks.

For Starters: Which version of Publisher and which email client are you
using?

Ps. This is not always easy or reliable to do.
