Text boxes that scroll

Hello,

I am creating an electronic file for a product information guide for my
company. I will be uploading the file to an internal portal and keeping it as
an .htm for testing before we roll it out to our affiliates as a website once
approved.

I have an image that I need to stay visible at the top of the page, with
information in a text box that can scroll. The "text area" in the form
control would be be how I would like it to look, but I would want to paste my
text in there. Is that an option somewhere in Publisher or do i have to
insert code fragments. I'm a little nervous about this since I don't know
anything about code.

I am using Publisher 2003.

Thanks,

I looked at the link. Everything there seems to be automated. Maybe I'm using
the wrong terminology.

What I'm looking for is a simple text box with a bar at the side that moves
up and down that lets you manually scroll just that area. Very similar set up
as a form text box but one that allows me to copy text from my other programs
and place the text in there.

Thank you for your previous suggestion.

Use the form control "Text Area"
Paste your text in as the default text
Size the box and you have it

It sounds like you are wanting to frame the content of the page. You can use
an iframe for the text, but frames are not considered "good practice" these
days for lots of reasons including the fact that search engines cannot index
the text, among other things. Perhaps if you explain why does the image need
to stay at the top of the page, and a bit more about what your goals are, we
can offer better help.
