Text boxes

I'm using a spreadsheet. I would like to add a text box that will increase
or decrease as you type in it, and only use the space you need.
Can this be done; and if yes, how do I do it?

Once you create the text box Control/Right- Click it & choose either Format
Text or Format Shape from the contextual menu. Select Text Box from the list
on the left then pick the option for "Resize shape to fit text".
