Text boxes

1) How do you draw a text box?
2) How do you resize a text box to the Size you need? (like a diagonal arrow)
3) Is there away to align multiple selected\text boxes?

OneNote doesn't really work that way. You just select the text tool,
click where you want to type, and start typing. OneNote grows the "text
box" to fit. It is not like a desktop publishing program or even like
Journal.

thanks grant... but the quirky thing that when I type in a new area, I'd
expect the textbox to expand to the page margins... alas, it seems to break
at some randomly assign point in typing (1.5" or so)... is there a "way" to
fix this?

That's when you grab the little double arrow at the top of what Microsoft
calls the "Writing Guide" and drag it out to where you want it. I know,
it's weird, you gotta do half of it one way and another half of it
another way. But that's the way it works.

In ON 07 you have even less control. Sure, you can drag the box in or out
but ON 07 will just resize it again to be way too big as soon as you do
anything.

It's not a program like Word. It's for note taking. So the note object
(it's not a textbox) doesn't extend to the full width of the page. The
idea being that it leaves you space for taking notes to the right of
your object.
If you want accuracy, full printing fidelity, etc, then use Word.
