Text color automatic

In Excel 2007 how do you make black the automatic color for your text.
In my old excel I just went to font, chose color and checked automatic.
Can't find any way to make the default print the color I want. Please help

On the Home tab, under Font, click on the text color icon, click automatic?

The Automatic color is black unless you change the window font color on the
Appearance tab of the Display Properties dialog box. (Double-click the
Display icon in the Control Panel to open the Display Properties dialog box.
Select the Appearance tab. Click the Advanced button. Drop down the Item list
and select Window. The font color you select here will be the Automatic
color.)
