Text cursor size in Microsoft word 2003

The text cursor size in my microsoft word 2003 has suddenly changed. It has
become too small. However, the original size can still be seen in other
applications like notepad or excel. How can i change it back to its normal
size, in microsoft word?

Change the View, Zoom setting to 500% and then back to 100% (or whatever you
use by default).

Try switching to 500% zoom and back again. This isn't a permanent fix,
unfortunately.
