In 2007 PowerPoint, I created a table and want to change the text direction
in a few cells. Under text direction, I can not chose "Rotate all text 270
degrees" as an option. I can chose "Rotate 90 degrees" but I don't want that
direction.

Wunderlust,
It works fine here. Is the option greyed out?
In PPT 2003 you could only turn 90° clockwise.
Row is high enough I presume.

Works fine here too! Are you using US or UK English? Maybe it's not available
in all languages?

Yes, text is greyed out. I can rotate one direction but not the other. This
is the US version.

Are you working in compatibility mode? (If you are, it will say
[Compatibility Mode] at the top of the screen near the presentation name.)

Yes, I was. Sorry for the late reply, I gave up on this earlier but it seems
you know what my problem was. I learned from tech support that I should open
the 2003 Powerpoint file, save as a 2007 file, then reopen to work on the
document. When I tried that I was able to chose the option to rotate the
text 270 degrees. BTW, I have been to your site during my quest to learn
Powerpoint.
