Text disappears from autoshapes

I use Word 2002 with XP. I've created a flowchart (20
autoshapes) in a drawing canvas. Each autoshape has
text. It has printed just fine previously, but now little
of the text is printing. The autoshapes outlines, the
connecting lines and three text boxes are printing. The
drawing looks normal on the screen.

Under tools/options/print I have drawing objects checked.
Under tools/options/view, picture placeholders is not
checked.

Please help?!

I tried grouping and then ungrouping. None of it made a
difference.

Try moving the flowchart objects out of the drawing canvas and putting
them directly into the document.
