Text disappears when replying or forwarding

I have a user that sends, receives, replies and forwards to 99% of his
emails just fine.
Then there are two different contacts at different companies, that when
he replies or forwards the email they sent him, the text disappears.

I've checked settings (Include original message text...) and that is
all fine.
I've sent several test emails to him using HTML, Rich text, and Plain
text with and without Word being the editor. He works fine with each
one of those.

I've searched the web for while looking for a reason and/or solution.
No such luck.

Ever heard of this?
