Text drag-drop destroys text in the table

We have recently converted from MS-Project desktop 2007 to Server 2007. I
find that if I take a legacy file and attempt to move text from one text
column to another text column using click-drag-drop, then all the text in the
text columns is destroyed. This only happens to me, no matter what machine I
use. Others do not have this problem, even when using those files or my
machine. I do not have this problem with new files. This smells like a
setting issue limited to me. Suggestions?
