Text field on the PWA Timesheet

We are new to MSProject Server and are trying to display a text field on the
timesheet view. We are using the text1 field to hold an internal project
number and want that field to display on the timesheet view. We have
published the text1 field (tools/customize/published fields) but the values
that show in the timesheet view. The field values do show in the project
center view.

What are we doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Carolyn:

Assuming you're using 2003: Besides the steps you took, the Project Server
Administrator must add the filed to the Timesheet view using Admin > Manage
views.
