Text Fields

I need to know about the ability to have text fields in
Project 2002 that are larger than 255 characters. I'm
creating a master project document with a subproject
associated with part of it. The master will have
summarized info about due date, resource, etc. The
subproject needs to hold detailed information regarding a
particular issue, including one field for issue
description and one for issue action/resolution.

What are my options for getting larger text fields into
my subproject? So far I've only found the option to add
the Text1-30 fields and they aren't large enough. Don't
see a way to modify them.

The notes field is the only field which is longer than 255 characters. The
text fields can't be modified. Project Server allows for tracking issues and
actions associated with tasks. If this is really important to you you might
want to investigate using Project Server.

Thanks Jack. That works for holding all the information I need. I still have
issues on the printing end. I'm working in Task Sheet view and the Note is
truncated in this view to the 255 characters (or so, it isn't consistent
totally). Know of a way I can get all the Note to show up in this view?
