text font changes on publishing to web

I cut and pasted some text from the internet into microsoft word and then
into a text box on microsoft publisher 2003. It looks great in the publisher
editor, but when I publish it to the web, the text completely changes font
and gets scrunched together. Any suggestions?

Open the pub file, and select,

Tools,
Design Checker

to see if you have some problems.

In addition to what Don suggested, you might have to strip out all the
special formatting. When you paste from Word, do a paste special as plain
text. Also be sure to use web friendly fonts.
