Text form field number format leading zero

Hi,

I have a text from field where I would like the end user to input order
numbers. Our order numbers start with a zero, ie 00001, 00002 etc.
I've searched and other answers say set the field to 'text' and it does keep
the leading zero's, however, it also allows the user to type their name in
this field!
Is there a way that I can format the field to 'number' (thus not allowing
any alpha's) and still keep the leading zero's?

TIA,

AW

In the Properties dialog for the formfield, select number as the type and in
hte Number format control enter 0000#.

The user will will only need to enter the non-zero part of the order number,
such as 1, 2 or 3 and it will automatically be formatted to 00001, 00002
etc. when they exit from the formfield.

Thanks for the swift response Doug, it work perfect. A simple solution, but
sometimes you just can't see the wood for the trees!
