I have a Proposal Form and an Order Form (both word docs). I set it up
so the Proposal Form uses text form fields to enter in information and
the Order Form uses references to get the information form the text
form fields of the Proposal Form. They are both locked for saving so
the users have to rename the files. They will create a Proposal Form
and then if the customer is interested in purchasing the products, the
user will then create an Order Form. I need a way to transfer some (not
all) information form the text form fields to the Order Form. The
trouble I am having is that when you rename the Proposal Form (from the
default name), the references in the Order Form stop working. Is there
anything I can do to correct this, or a different method to use?
