Text Form Fields

When designing a form in Word, is there a way to
automatically fill in the text for Text Form Field 15
from Text Form Field 2, for example?

Hi Kyle,

Instead of having a form field at field 15, instead include a REF field,
which references form field 2

Hi Kyle,

Check out the actual name of the source field (double click on it and note
its bookmark name). Let's assume that in your case it is "Text2".
Instead of using a form field at the destination, use a REF field that will
refer to the bookmark containing the text, in this case "Text2".

Remove the "Text15" form field and replace it with:

{REF Text2}

Note that the pair of curly braces have to be inserted with CTRL-F9 (you
cannot copy-paste the whole thing from here).

Cheers!

Also note that in your original field you have to check the property for
"calculate on exit" and your form must be protected for forms.

See the MVP FAQ: <URL: http://www.mvps.org/word/> which is awesome!
