Text formated email not displaying (Outlook 2007)

When one of my users receives and email in text format, the text is not
displayed. The reading pane shows nothing. When he opens the messages, the
pane shows nothing. Tried to convert the message to HTML or RTF and still
nothing. When he tries to reply, typing shows nothing. If he forwards the
message, the text is there.
If you do a select all, text is selected but invisible. RTF and HTML
messages come through fine. I looked for FONT and COLOR configuration but
could not find anything to correct this problem.

Anyone else seen this? Suggestions?
