Text Function Question regarding people’s names

Ed

I have a column of data with people’s full names: Last Name, First
Name, Middle Initial/Middle Name. How do I get Excel to report the
first name only in another column, the middle initial(s) or middle
name in a second column, and the last name only in a third column?

Thanks for your help.

Wow, this is great. I haven't got it working perfectly yet. The Middle
initial is appearing with the first name. The middle name is just
".". CLearly I entered the formula incorrectly.

Will this work with a person with two middle names? (Bush, George H.
W.)

Thanks for your help.
