How do I display text from one cell in worksheet in
another cell in other worksheet (trough insert function)

Hi Jacun!

Works for me OK even modified for the target being on another sheet.

Here's possibilities why it doesn't work for you:

1. Where formulas in all cells are being shown:
Tools > Options
View tab
Remove check from Formulas
OK

It could be that you've accidentally hit the toggle shortcut Ctrl + ~.

2. For an individual or group showing of formulas:
It could be that the cells are formatted as Text. So format with any
number format using the Format > Cells > Number Tab

3. For an individual formula.
It could be a character inserted before the = sign. So Select the
cell, F2, Home, and delete any preceding characters.



4. Finally

No = sign before the formula.

This still remains unresolved.
Content of a cell C2 in worksheet 1 is an address (text)
and I want it to be displyed in cell A1 in worksheet 2.
I have followed your instructions but I still get either
formula dipayed in a cell or number zero.
