Text gets cut from Memo Field in Access to Excel

Hi! I've been trying to figure this out but to no avail.

I created a simple query in access which contains a table in access with a
memo field. When I analyze it with excel, the texts in the memo field are
cut. In the result of the query, the texts are all there, but somehow when
the same information is extracted to an excel file, long texts will be cut.
I also created a report in access from this query with the memo field. When
running the report in access, the memo field is also cut short even if the
text box in the report is expanded or the property of the text box is set to
"grow".

I would really appreciate your help on this one! Thanks in advance!

Hi Chubs,

The fact that your memo field is also cut off in the Access report indicates
that you may have applied a format, in table design view, to the memo field.

Hi Chubs,

I never export reports to Excel, simply because the results are less than
desireable. You might want to try exporting the recordsource of the report
(ie. table or query) instead.
