Text goes blank when clicking in a box. Is there a fix?

This is happening for all our visio users. When a user clicks into a shape
with text in it, all the text goes white and you can't see it. It all
reappears when you type a character. It's not the end of the world, but it
is rather annoying. Is this an SP issue? and does anyone know of a fix?

Many thanks

What version of Visio? Is the actual text black, white or another color?

Hi Mark. Sorry, I should have put that down.

It's Visio Professional 2002 SP2 running on XP SP2. When you click into the
box the text is highlighted as it should be but it seems to change to the
same color as the highlight. So all you see is a solid block of color. If
you then click one anywhere in the highlight, it all then turns to white.
The text will only reappear when you type something!! All very strange.

Many thanks

You might open the Shapesheet and make sure that the HideText cell is not
True. This would make the text invisible but still editable, which matches
the behavior you describe.
