In Word 2007, is there a way to have a word or phrase placed around the
outside of a circle so that the word/phrase forms its own circle? Thanks,

Hi Ricki,

You could form the circle fromone or more WordArt objects or, if you're using a postscript printer, by embeding the appropriate
postscript code in a PRINT field.
